6 requirements for a great farm implement shed
Clear span rafters remove the need for internal supports or poles and is a great feature for an implement shed. This gives operators unimpeded access and means implements can be parked closer together. This helps to maximise useable space inside the shed and your investment. With spans up to 30m available, this is our thing
Height. Make sure you are thinking ahead for large implements, trucks or tractors which may be stored in future.
Bird perch free. Its important to have a design where birds can't perch in the roof framing. Bird droppings cause massive damage to tractors and implements NZ wide.
Implement sheds can be fully enclosed or open at the front. Choose your site and orienta.tion carefully so the opening side is most sheltered and protected from the elements.
